I got the chance to work on a music video for Fickle Friends for their song IRL, I was told the songs meaning and so based my work on the emotions they were describing. I used a variety of digital mediums and styles to give the feeling that the graphics were created by a group of people which allowed the set to look more realistic.
Graphics Work
As we were working in a small team, we spent a couple of days putting the set together and constructing all of the furniture that our production designer had designed. It fell to me as the art department assistant to add the details and finishing touches to these pieces and other props. The look was to make everything feel like a cartoon, so all the furniture had to have bold outlines and cross hatching to mimic this style.
